Yes....Karen....I spray the pan. It works better because the meat is so lean it tends to not have a lot of drippings.
I one time used my broiling pan and covered it with foil....sprayed the foil...clean up was a breeze!!

Glad you liked them and that the grands did too.

Love and oodles of hugs....connie d

Jan:

Congratulations on selling your house.  I think it's so exciting that you will be moving on to your retirement home at the same time you are celebrating your new life with WLS.  You have got to be excited.

What has made me happy recently?  The little things.  I used to work LOTS of OT at work during the last 4 years.  This year I only worked a coupte days OT before surgery and have enjoyed having all that extra time to nurture myself that I've decided not to work any more OT.  I just signed up for some knitting classes to learn different techniques and want to take some cooking classes in the future--just celebrating my new life after WLS.

Have a good day everyone.

jan...i was thinking at work--oh no! that's dangerous!j/k!

when i was early out i ate a lot of ricotta cheese--it's smooth yet calcium and protein and calories!!!!!!! i often mix it with sf preserves or raisins or dried fruits (cranberries, etc)

just a thought............

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Thanks.  I only like ricotta if it's sweet and in a blintz!  Maybe I could sweeten it with splenda and give it a try.  I ate a chunk of cheddar cheese today and it was great.  My friend and I went chinese and I had a cup of egg drop soup and about 1/3 of an egg foo yung patty.  Everything stayed down and I feel fine.  maybe tonight it'll be feta cheese and greek olives.
Gary is crabby again today, *****ing about the concessions we agreed on (paying closing costs) and other things.  The inspection is tomorrow at 12:30 and I just got an e-mail from our realtor asking if we could restore the doorwall before the inspection (take out the doggy door)  Now he's feeling we should have asked more for the house.  He crabs at me, but talks nice to the realtor, so I told him to call the realtor.  I'm not answering any more of his questions.  This is turning into a major battle.  ugh
It is what it is.

There used to be an old Weigh****chers recipe with either ricotta or cottage cheese ... I never liked cottage cheese, so I used ricotta. You mixed ricotta with cinnamon and fake sugar (back then it was the pink stuff, but Splenda would work) and topped it with a pineapple ring, put it on a half English muffin and put it under the broiler for a few minutes, sprinkle with cinnamon. It was really good. I used to eat the ricotta-cinnamon mixture by itself, it was so good. Haven't had it in a long time; can't tell you the actual measurements, but I'm sure if you searched WW you'd find it.

It is a 1/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese and 1 pineapple ring with sweetner sprinkled on top. Broil 2 minutes. But toast the english muffin first.

Thanks Eileen and Carla.  I'll for sure try it.  I have an old ww book here and I'll look through it and see if I can find other things.
Great ideas on this here site!
